The Late Show With Stephen Colbert shared video of James Taylor performing “Shower The People” with Late Show band Stay Human. Beginning with St. Vincent last week, Taylor is the latest musician to conduct a weeklong residency on the late night program in bandleader Jon Batiste’s absence with Joe Walsh slated as the final artist in residence next week.

While only the audience in the Ed Sullivan Theatre has been privy to the full residency collaborations, The Late Show has been releasing footage of complete choice performances on YouTube called “The Late Show’s Commercial Breakdown.” Last week, the late night program shared St. Vincent and Stay Human — led by guitarist Louis Cato — performing Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams.”

St. Vincent and Stay Human teamed up to cover Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” for ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.’

This week’s “The Late Show Commercial Breakdown” features the beloved James Taylor classic “Shower The People.” The song is the opening track on JT’s 1976 album, In The Pocket.
