BUFFALO, N.Y. — So far this season the Buffalo Bills have played in near record heat, rain from a post tropical system and intense Florida humidity, and any of Bills Mafia who attended those games had to face the elements too.

But there is good news for this week: The only impact at Highmark Stadium on Sunday afternoon will be a breeze.

A classic, fall football day is on the way for Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Anyone heading to Orchard Park Sunday morning should be prepared for it to be a bit chilly early on with temperatures in the 40s to start.

Sunday will be a bright and sunny day though, which will help temperatures rise into the mid 50s by kickoff at 1 p.m., continuing to climb into the upper 50s throughout the game. Clouds could become a little more prevalent by games end with winds shifting to be northwesterly later on in the day. And while there is a spot shower chance Sunday evening, those shouldn't impact the game earlier in the day.

Heard it’s #NationalSmileDay… think this game day forecast for Sunday might do the trick. 😊 Finally a decent forecast for #BillsMafia this year! 🙌 @WGRZ #StormTeam2 #nywx pic.twitter.com/Pd9QzEOdDn

But there will be a decent breeze throughout the day, bringing both a chill to the air and also winds that could gust up to 30 mph at times. This breeze might be noticeable on the filed but shouldn't impact gameplay too much with the exception for kicking.
