With rain and wind blowing in the area, the temperature tends to be cooler-NBC Boston

Yesterday, the high temperature in many communities reached more than 70 degrees. Due to the weak cold front, we will cool down a bit today. This morning, we had some scattered fog and clouds around southern New England.

The north is a humid night with sporadic showers from time to time. These showers weakened as they moved to the southeast this morning. By noon in the morning, only a small amount of water can reach Cape Town and the islands.

The clouds dissipated this afternoon, and the north wind may be as high as 25 miles per hour. We should bounce to 50 degrees and 60 degrees before sunset at 4:30.

We have another good night to watch the stars and watch Jupiter, Saturn, first quarter moon and Venus at night. Tonight's lows have dropped to their 20s and 30s, and the sky is basically clear.

The temperature on Veterans Day will be even lower, reaching high temperatures in the mid-1950s. The mixture of dark clouds and the sun will linger, and there will be more clouds that night.

With the system running, the first warning for wind and rain was issued on Friday. A low-pressure system that passes through the Great Lakes will actually bring snow to the upper Midwest. When we stay in the warm part of this system, we will see rain.

On Friday morning, a warm front rose first, bringing us showers and gusts of southeast and southeast winds. By the afternoon, peak wind speeds along the coast and the Cape and Islands reached 35-45 mph. Inland gusts reach 20-30 miles per hour.

Driving home throughout the afternoon and evening, it will rain throughout the northeast. Rainfall of 1-2 inches is expected, but this will not cause any serious flooding problems. However, standing water on the road will be a problem when commuting home.

The storm will end on Saturday, but there may be showers on Saturday and Sunday afternoons because the air mass above the head is very cool. Snow showers may also occur at high altitudes in northern New England.

The temperature dropped to more than 50 degrees on Saturday and to more than 40 degrees on Sunday. Next week, the cool temperature will remain at the high point in the 1940s.
