Western Michigan — FOX 17 meteorologist Anthony Domol predicts that a partially cloudy sky will accompany us into the night, and then more clouds will appear on the scene later in the night, because the lake effect showers begin to develop, especially in the north and west Grand Rapids. These lake-effect showers will be transferred to Grand Rapids in the late morning and Friday afternoon. Wet car looking forward to coming home from get off work. As we move forward, we will see snowflakes mixed together at night, but any buildup on Friday night should be slight. Having said that, local muddy grass accumulation is possible. Any lake-effect rain or snowfall on Saturday was insignificant, but the Clippers system infiltrated from the northwest brought a more significant round of wet snow on Sunday morning and early afternoon. The system has the potential to drop a few inches of snow throughout the area. The temporary union will make some relief in the middle of the next working week.
Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy, breezy, colder. There is little chance of taking a bath at night. Low point in the 30s. Winds to the southwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour.
Friday: Most of the time is cloudy, breezy, cold, and windy, accompanied by lake-effect showers and sleet. As early as the low/mid highs in the 1940s, then fell to the 1930s throughout the day. Wind chill in his 20s. Blowing southwest/westerly at a speed of 10 to 20 mph, with a gust of about 30 mph.
Friday night: Cloudy, with lake effect rain and snow. The accumulation of grass is possible. As low as the mid-1930s.
Saturday: There are a few lake-effect showers and snow showers, breeze. No accumulation is expected. High point in his 40s, wind chill in his 20s.
Sunday: There may be wet snow in the morning. There are showers and snow showers in the afternoon. A few inches of loose snow is possible. High point in the 30s.
