United Airlines (OAK) is part of the state-owned technology giant Rostec, and plans to certify the Superjet aircraft in its new "commercial" version by 2022, named Aurus Business Jet (ABJ), Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Dennis Mann Denis Manturov said in an interview with RBK.

The Minister added that the aircraft will be exhibited internationally during the Dubai Airshow Aerospace Show in Dubai (UAE) from November 14th to 18th.

Since 2013, OAK has designed 11 luxury Superjet aircraft for Russian and foreign customers. Mantúrov detailed that after showing its high-end models at the MAKS International Air Show (Moscow) this summer, OAK reached an agreement with the Russian luxury car manufacturing company Aurus Motors to "improve some aesthetic aspects."

All the works related to the design of the living room were carried out by the Russian company Tulpar Interior Group in Kazan, and it was estimated to cost about 900 million rubles (nearly 12.5 million US dollars). Therefore, a new type of executive aircraft was born, equipped with shower cabins and folding stairs.

In addition to the costs mentioned, OAK has also invested a lot of resources to facilitate high-speed Internet access and modify the fuel system, which allows ABJ to operate flights up to 7,200 kilometers. In this way, the aircraft will be able to handle flights between Moscow and Vladivostok.

OAK did not disclose the price of the new Aurus business jet, which depends on the characteristics selected by the customer.
